The first leg of the Perkeros tour begins from the Belgian Comic Strip Center in Brussels in the form of a Perkeros exhibition. I'm actually short for words here, as it seems absolutely surreal to have been granted this opportunity… I remember visiting the museum in 2007 and feeling overwhelmed by the space, not to mention the artwork and history preserved on the walls. The opening is on the 6th of May, and I'm already slightly nervous. :) A big thanks to the fellows at the Finnish Cultural Institute, who already wrote a little tidbit of the upcoming exhibit.

For those of you waiting for the actual book to come out in French, please note that Delitoon will be launching the first batch of the book on the 16th of April. Some pretty crazy times ahead.

Tulee hitusen viiveellä, mutta kiitokset kaikille Perkeros Backstage -näyttelyyn osallistuneille, niin Sarjakuvakeskuksen väelle kuin vieraillekin. Avajaisissa oli huikeasti väkeä, ja sekä vieraskirjaa että bäkkärin seinää oli tehokkaasti sutattu. Vallan mainiota. Olin suustani niin tiiviisti kiinni koko illan, että unohdin tyystin dokumentoida näyttelyä ja tunnelmaa, mutta erityiskiitos Henry Söderlundille ja Jukka Tilukselle näistä muutamista kuvista (ja pahoittelut että toonasin nämä blogia varten!). Jos ette ole törmänneet kavereihin aiemmin, suosittelen poikkeamaan heidän sivuillaan. Näyttely jatkaa keväämmällä matkaansa, mutta siitä saan hiiskua enemmän vasta myöhemmin.

Kuten mainitsin aiemmin, ensi viikonloppuna Tampere kuplii jälleen. Jos satutte olemaan nurkilla, tervetuloa poikkeamaan. Olen paikalla koko viikonlopun myyntipöydän äärellä kirjoja suttaamassa. Mikäli en ole myyntipisteellä, olen todennäköisesti kiinni näissä haastiksissa:
