Press Photos of the Year 2011

Seeing all this great footage from near and far is both moving, inspiring and simply mind-blowing. Photojournalists, you are my heroes, the whole bunch of you. Your work is meaningful and rich in itself, and I detest the fact that Sodoma Media Finland and the likes are trying to squeeze every penny and turn journalism into a capitalist moneymaking tool.
